In regards to your style, think of something you’ve always wanted to try but just never found the time to actually do. Some people want to try switching up their make-up looks. Others want to wear more colorful shoes. For me personally, I’m trying to incorporate more accessories in my closet. I don’t know why but I never felt comfortable wearing anything more than earrings and a simple necklace. Maybe it’s something I get from my family. My mother hardly wears earrings and I don’t think any of the women in my family care for accessories. However last month a cute little belt caught my eye at GallerieTokyo— a chain belt.
I automatically feel silly if I wear anything more than earrings. I know there’s such thing as accessory overload. Coco Chanel says you should remove one accessory before walking out the door. But how do you find the balance between too much and just right? What is the right amount of accessories someone can wear before they’re doing too much?
I don’t know the answer to that question, but I think I’ve finally found the perfect accessory to really help push me out of my two-three count accessory comfort zone. I was actually a bit skeptical to buy this at first. One of the salesladies convinced me to buy it since it would match with a new satin jumpsuit I bought recently.
How to Style
The accessory isn’t hard to pair with an outfit. In fact, I think it spices up just about any outfit you add it too. I’m still a little uncomfortable deciding if I should wrap the chain belt around my waist or my hips or how tight I should go, but it’s still cute. It’s simple, comes in various styles, I hope I can wear it out a bit more in the future. Do you have any accessories you like to wear? Let me know in the comments.
